A solar power plant (SPP) investment with an estimated installed capacity of approximately 12 MW is planned to be established in Viranşehir, Şanlıurfa. Preliminary land allocation has been completed, and an application for SPP construction has been submitted. A call for proposals has been received for 3.75 MW of the project, and an additional 8.25 MW of capacity has been allocated. Thus, a total of 12 MW of capacity has been allocated.

 

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has begun; the EIA has been obtained for the 8.25 MW portion of the project, and the process continues for the remaining 3.75 MW.
