This legacy provided the institutional foundation upon which Armada Foods’ corporate structure in the food industry was built.
1993 | Foundation of Armada Foods
Established in 1993, Armada Foods translated decades of accumulated commercial expertise into industrial-scale food operations.
Capitalizing on Mersin’s strategic port location, the Company commenced import and export activities through a 2,000 m² warehousing facility, thereby establishing the core of its logistics and supply chain capabilities.
1996–1999 | Industrial Scale and Technological Advancement
In line with increasing operational volumes, Armada Foods commissioned a state-of-the-art 20,000 m² pulses processing facility, marking its transition to industrial-scale manufacturing.
In 1999, the integration of Color Sorter technology significantly enhanced quality assurance processes, ensuring product consistency, traceability, and elevated quality standards across production.
2000–2003 | Export Growth and Integrated Logistics
Between 2000 and 2002, Armada Foods expanded its export footprint, supplying products to the United Nations and leading international humanitarian organizations.
In 2003, the establishment of the Company’s first bonded warehouses in Mersin further reinforced its logistics infrastructure and enabled the formation of a fully integrated supply chain architecture.
2009 | Commissioning of the Central Production Facility
In 2009, Armada Foods commissioned its 38,000 m² Central Manufacturing Facility, substantially expanding its production capacity and operational capabilities.
This investment constituted a critical milestone in supporting the Company’s scalable industrial platform and long-term growth trajectory.
2012–2017 | Portfolio Expansion and Organic Integration
From 2012 onwards, Armada Foods continued to broaden its operational footprint through the commissioning of new facilities and additional production lines.
In 2015, the bulgur processing facility became operational, further diversifying the Company’s product portfolio.
In 2017, Armada Foods initiated certified organic production under a contract farming model, embedding sustainability, traceability, and food safety as integral elements of its operating model.
2019–2022 | Capacity Enhancement and Organic Expertise
In 2019, the Company increased its overall processing capacity to meet growing demand.
The commissioning of the Armada-2 Organic Facility in 2022 further strengthened Armada Foods’ certified organic production capabilities, reinforcing its specialization in organic products.
2023–2025 | Brand Institutionalization, Energy Investments, and Capital Markets
In 2023, the first phase of the Armada-3 investment was completed. In the same year, Armada Foods’ inclusion in the Turquality Program marked a significant step in institutionalizing its global branding strategy.
In 2024, the Company implemented renewable energy investments while continuing Armada-3 capital expenditures and initiating the initial public offering process.
In 2025, the successful completion of the IPO enabled Armada Foods to access capital markets. In the same year, the commissioning of the Extrusion Facility expanded the Company’s capabilities in value-added and functional food production.
Today
Today, Armada Foods operates an integrated value chain from farm to table, underpinned by a robust industrial infrastructure, a sustainable agriculture model, and an extensive global export network.
