Armada-2: Organic Production Facilities
Launched in 2022, Armada-2 is one of Armada Food's integrated facilities focused on organic production. Fully implementing the "from farm to table" principle, this facility is one of Turkey's pioneering production centers where organic products are processed without any chemical treatment, under controlled and isolated conditions.
Built on a total area of 10,000 m² with 5,800 m² of covered production space, the facility meets the highest hygiene and traceability standards in organic production with its completely closed and isolated structure. The physical separation of production and logistics flows eliminates the risk of cross-contamination, ensuring that the fundamental requirements of organic production are fully met.
Armada-2 has four separate production lines under one roof, each completely isolated from the other:
- Organic sorting line - total 80 tonnage /day capacity
- Organic lentil processing line - total 80 tonnage /day capacity
- Organic flour production line (gluten-free focused) - total 40 tonnage /day capacity
- Organic packaging line - total 16 tonnage /day capacity
High-precision optical sorting systems, metal detectors, and X-ray devices are integrated into all lines, ensuring the highest level of food safety at every stage of the production process. Armada Gıda, the first company in Turkey to integrate X-ray technology and advanced Sortex systems into the legume sector, continues this pioneering role at Armada-2.
The flour production line specializes in gluten-free products. The gluten-free flours produced here are exported to many countries, primarily Europe, as well as the domestic market, providing high value-added raw material supply for global brands. In addition, the integrated precooked system offers the capacity to produce functional products for industrial use.
Armada-2 is the first legume facility in Turkey that ensures pest control in organic production using entirely non-chemical methods. Thanks to innovative solutions such as the microwave line, CO₂ fumigation system, and pressurized CO₂ tank technology, products are both free from biological risks and have their shelf life extended naturally. These systems are only integrated and implemented by Armada Food in the industry.
The 'double-check' principle applied in production processes ensures that critical separation and control stages are always supported by a dual-machine system, guaranteeing maximum reliability, precision, and product integrity.
